Conference at Jupiters

Another conference for the company and this time we drove down to the Gold Coast for the night. It was nice for once to have an agenda that was short and sweet to get the company blurbs and mandatory breakout sessions out of the way so that we could get to the fun bits at the buzz night. Not that the official conference proceedings were bad by any means. There were definite highlights including a demonstration of Krav Maga, walking on broken glass and we all got to hold an Olympic gold medal. Pretty nifty.

George had the guts to walk on glass. Look at him though, it's not like you would expect a few shards to crack that tough manly exterior.

For the buzz night we had a theme of Transformation to dress up to. There were quite a few superheroes and mythical creatures. We took a slightly different tact and opted for external change, in this case a group of plastic surgeons. Scrubs turned out to be hard to find so to be specific we're highly qualified consultants on the ward.

I even got to keep in character and performed an impromptu augmentation on one of the other developers. Pretty good for a first operation I think. I don't think the implants lasted all that long on account of excessive fondling.

Food was pretty good at dinner and breakfast. Can't vouch for the alcohol provided as I was on baby watch for the night just in case Alison called. Based on what I could see everyone else certainly had a good time with the booze. Buzz nights take on a completely different flavour when you're sober that's for sure. If it wasn't already obvious the baby call never came that night.
